Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and commitment to bettering South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) companies during an engagement while using the company's senior supervisors in a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric exams.
Of your 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% with the registered pupils in the education and learning sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
